The second webinar of Tae Ora Tinana’s ongoing Ka Hāpai te Ora
Webinar Series.
Witana Petley (Ngāi Te Rangi, Ngāti Ranginui, Ngāti Porou) is the current Tūmuaki of Tae Ora Tinana and a Hauora Māori Lecturer at Otago University. His clinical background is in Neurological Physiotherapy and Stroke Rehabilitation with an increasing expertise in Hauora Māori and Cultural Safety.
This session titled "Cultural Safety conversations and considerations" is a korero based on understanding more about Cultural Safety in its application as Health Practitioners, especially with Māori communities, with specific review of strategies that individuals or organisations can utilise to promote cultural safety development.
